Podiatry
Maternal and paediatric podiatry focuses on the analysis, diagnosis and treatment of foot-related conditions both in children and during pregnancy and postpartum. The foot is the foundation of the body, and its function reflects overall balance.
The Maternal and Paediatric Podiatry Service at Clínica Verna is a unique integrative unit in Girona, where we assess gait, posture, joints, and both static and dynamic function, adapting to each stage: childhood, pregnancy and postpartum.
The feet are one of the most important parts of the body. They serve, among other things, to support our body on the ground, to support our weight, to make walking possible or to maintain our balance.
From childhood, the period of growth and development, it is important to check and assess the condition of our limbs and feet in order to avoid future health problems.
